Queer Play Day

Had an awesome day! Was there from start to finish. There was a great sense of community and was a great way to connect to other queers. The workshops were also a lot of fun and there was enough to do between workshops. Will definitely be there again next time!

It was super cute (: ! I met new people, had open interesting yet lighthearted conversations, and there also were prompts for interesting conversations: like the question, I don't remember exactly, something like 'what did you do last week that you're proud of?' How cool is it to start a conversation with that question. Super chill rainy outside fireplace vibes in my hectic week and head, but with hidden possibilities to see beautiful pictures, dance, cloth swap, play games.. And see a bunch of queers in a circle roasting marshmallows in the rain (: took a picture of that with my heart :p corny, but i did. I think what really worked for my was how chill and sort of spacious it was, but with these little places where something is happening where it's easy to connect (or connect in a different way, or do something else than just standing around talking for a bit) over doing one of these little things together.

The mental health workshop was a great moment for checking in, reflecting on the past year and getting to know some beautiful people and hear their stories! I thoroughly enjoyed this calm and embracing environment 🫶🏻

Self Love Workshop

The workshop was amazing. The hosts were able to create a very calm atmosphere, everyone was really involved and the physical activities helped us tune in and make the rest of the work more effective. I have to say the whole thing exceeded my expectations. Thank you again!

A beautiful experience for queer folks living in and around Amsterdam. Definitely recommend it. You will connect with interesting souls and come out of the workshop feeling calm, collected and inspired.
